Rachel Padula Shufelt

Biography

Rachel Padula Shufelt is a graduate of Emerson College. Some of her recent costume design credits include Macbeth and Edward II (Actors' Shakespeare Project); Frankenstein (Central Square Theater); Charlotte's Web (American Repertory Theater); S.I.N.S.OFU.S and The Owl Answers (Harvard University); Shakespeare in Love and Men on Boats (SpeakEasy Stage Company); Alice in War and Little Murders (Boston Conservatory at Berklee); Rosenbergs, Lost Tempo, The River Was Whiskey, Mortal Terror, Legally Dead, Absence, Windowmen, Chosen Child, and Reconsidering Hanna(h) (Boston Playwrights’ Theatre); Ezio (Odyssey Opera); Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Doubt, and Uncanny Valley (Stoneham Theatre); and Trad and Crimes of the Heart (Gloucester Stage Company). Shufelt’s received the Eliot Norton Award for Outstanding Design on Edward II at the Actors’ Shakespeare Project, and received a Eliot Norton Award for Outstanding Design nomination for her work on Windowmen at the Boston Playwrights’ Theatre.
