Boston Conservatory faculty members Sarah Brady, Robert Sheena, Jan Halloran, Margaret Phillips, and Anne Howarth present a Faculty Wind Quintet recital. Repertoire will include the world premiere of a Boston Conservatory commission by Dan VanHassel, Gabriela Frank’s “MITOS,” Paquito D’Rivera’s “Aires Tropicales,” and a collaboration with Boston Conservatory students, featuring movements of Joachim Raff’s Sinfonietta.

About the Artists

Sarah Brady, associate professor of flute, is sought after across the country as a soloist, chamber musician, and master teacher. Learn more about Brady.

Robert Sheena, associate professor of oboe, is the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s English horn player. Learn more about Sheena.

Jan Halloran, assistant professor of clarinet, holds the position of principal clarinet with Boston Lyric Opera and regularly appears with many of Boston’s preeminent ensembles. Learn more about Halloran.
