Amy Yang, piano

Hsin-Yun Huang, viola, first came to international attention as the gold medalist and the youngest competitor in the 1988 Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition. In 1993, she was the top prize winner in the ARD International Competition in Munich and was awarded the highly prestigious Bunkamura Orchard Hall Award. Huang was a member of the Borromeo String Quartet from 1994 to 2000 and has performed at prominent music festivals throughout the world. As a concerto soloist, Huang has performed with the Bavarian Radio Orchestra, Berlin Radio Symphony, City of London Sinfonia, National Symphony of Taiwan, Russian State Philharmonic, and Tokyo Philharmonic. Amy Yang, piano, is a winner of the 2018 Musical Fund Society of Philadelphia prize and the Kosciuszko National Chopin Piano Competition. Yang has collaborated with leading musicians, including performances with Richard Goode, Anne-Marie McDermott, Ida and Ani Kavafian, Miriam Fried, Bomsori Kim, Roberto Díaz, Kim Kashkashian, Tessa Lark, Paul Neubauer, Tara Helen O'Conor, Joseph Silverstein, members of Guarneri String Quartet, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Dover Quartet, Aizuri String Quartet, Jasper String Quartet, and A Far Cry.
