Korhan Basaran

Founder of his Van Huynh Company; director of Centre151, an independent charity (London); associate director of Dance Bridges Festival (Kolkata, India); graduate of Boston Conservatory Dance Division; performed with companies and choreographers including the Nevada Ballet, Merce Cunningham, Portugal’s Companhia de Dança Contemporânea (CeDeCe, Richard Alston), and Phoenix Dance Theatre; artist in residence at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (2010–2012); associate artist with Dance United 2012–2014); operatic directorial debut at Ultima Festival (2015, Of Leonardo da Vinci).
