In addition to her globe-trotting career, Olga Kern has been a professor of piano at the Manhattan School of Music since 2017 and often presents master classes. Devoted to music education, she has created the Kern Foundation “Aspiration,” which assists talented musicians around the world.
Russian-born pianist Olga Kern was catapulted into stardom with her Gold Medal at the 2001 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Since then, she has established a spectacular career, performing to wild enthusiasm all over the world.
Founded in 2021 by American violinist Laurel Gagnon, Taiwanese clarinetist Li-Jie Yu, and Chinese pianist Ruoyang Xiang, Vinola Trio focuses on repertoire written during the 20th century and beyond, exploring diverse musical styles.
