Aniya Jones's In The World is Coming At You Fast, tells the story of a future playwright of America who happens to have no play, and realizes the difficulties of trying to escape the feelings of your past when time catches up to you all while facing an impending deadline. After receiving some critical feedback to her first draft, she is forced to rework the concept and unpack the swift changes on her own timeline. As she writes, she must navigate unresolved grief, new health diagnoses, deepening relationships, and the standard hardships that come from being in your 20s in the late 2020s.
