Benjamin Britten’s comic opera Albert Herring explores the themes of innocence and experience through a tale about coming of age in a small town. This springtime comedy, sung in English with English supertitles, abounds in musical wit, social satire, and hilarious caricature and is performed by an ensemble cast and chamber orchestra.
