Program Information
Welcome Note
We are thrilled to have you with us tonight as we celebrate the artistry, excellence, and vision of the Commercial Dance BFA program’s first performance at the Berklee Performance Center. We’re also thrilled to present our inaugural graduating class.
This performance showcases the rigorous training, creative exploration, and relentless pursuit of excellence by these remarkable students. Boston Conservatory’s Commercial Dance Program was founded with a bold goal: to contribute to the ever-evolving commercial dance industry by developing artists who are not only universally skilled and exceptionally talented but also deeply rooted in integrity, kindness, and a collaborative spirit.
The students you’ll see tonight embody the essence of this mission. They are dancers who light up the stage with their technical mastery and unique artistry while bringing warmth, respect, and a strong sense of community to every space they enter.
As you watch tonight’s performances, you’ll experience a dazzling array of styles, techniques, and perspectives that reflect the rich diversity of commercial dance. From electrifying choreography to soulful storytelling, this showcase highlights the boundless potential of this new generation of artists.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the faculty, mentors, families, and friends who have supported these dancers on their journey. Your encouragement has helped shape not just exceptional performers but extraordinary people who will make a lasting impact on our industry.
To our graduating class, congratulations! Your passion, perseverance, and artistry will inspire audiences and peers alike. We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see the mark you’ll leave on the world.
Thank you for joining us to celebrate this milestone. Enjoy the show!
