Boston Conservatory’s New Music Festival presents a concert celebrating the pioneering American experimentalist Alvin Lucier, featuring performances by Boston Conservatory faculty and others.

Alvin Lucier (1931–2021) was a pioneering composer who redefined and expanded the practices of experimental music—and even what constitutes music itself. His work is explored here in a concert that features a range of pieces from throughout his career.
