Faculty Recital: Jasmine Petals
Berlin-based pianist Fidan Aghayeva-Edler presents Jasmine Petals, an evening of piano music written over the last 15 years, including works by two Berklee faculty composers, Nomi Epstein and Marti Epstein.
This concert program explores sonorities and registers of piano at their extremes. It consists of music exclusively by women composers and was developed during the challenge #365daysofperformance. In 2024, Fidan Aghayeva-Edler learned a new piece by a woman composer every day for one year, and livestreamed the performances on her social network channels.
