Hemenway Strings at Roxbury Public Library: Let My People Go—The Four Seasons Then and Now
Boston Conservatory at Berklee's premier string ensemble performs Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, works by Dvořák, and spirituals arranged by H.T. Burleigh. Themes of liberation, endurance, and moral urgency through the spiritual tradition will be explored in Burleigh’s and Dvořák’s pieces, and Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons is presented in light of climate change.
