The Film Scoring Network Film Festival is a two-day celebration of student films, music, and community, presented by Berklee’s Film Scoring Network (FSN). One of Berklee’s oldest clubs, FSN supports the careers of aspiring film composers through guest composer events, workshops, networking opportunities, and more. Previous guest speakers have included renowned composers such as Howard Shore, John Powell, Harry Gregson-Williams, and Mychael Danna.

For years, FSN’s networking efforts have helped initiate hundreds of collaborations between Berklee composers and filmmakers throughout the Boston area, across the United States, and internationally. The festival celebrates these artistic partnerships and showcases the incredible talent of FSN’s student members, while also providing recognition and a platform for independent filmmakers and their work.

The first day of the festival (October 31) will feature film screenings, a live performance, a panel discussion, and food for attendees. The second day (November 1) continues with a panel, film screenings, a live performance, a raffle, an awards ceremony, and food.

The festival provides students with the opportunity to have their films screened in a professional setting and be celebrated by the Berklee community. Films selected for screening will be eligible for official festival awards across a range of categories, with winners selected by a panel of Berklee faculty judges. The event also features a raffle with the chance to win thousands of dollars in total prizes.

Join us for two days of film, music, collaboration, and celebration as we recognize the work of student composers and independent filmmakers and celebrate the incredible art created through their collaboration.
