From the Womb: A Pawn Out Of Placeby Jessie Thorne
The piece begins in the womb and takes audiences on a journey of life, through a compelling game of chess.

Psych! (excerpt) by Sherman Wood
Set in a funhouse that is representative of an asylum, this stunning ballet about mental instability follows the internal struggles of nine characters who have been diagnosed with a mental disorder.

Miña Terra (My Land) by Inés Beamonte Cosín
Set to the music of contemporary folk artist Carlos Nuñez, Miña Terra combines traditional Spanish folk dance with contemporary dance movement to understand the metaphorical resemblance between life and the ocean, in contrast to man’s desire for land and stability.

The Weight by Holly Wilder
Exploring the idea that all humans are connected by a desire to be loved, Wilder uses rocks as a metaphor for the emotional and physical weight that this desire can add to one’s life, and what it means to share it with others.

Songbird by Robin Aren
Set in a magical world, Songbird uses the unique perspective of a bird to explore the many shades of the human spirit—particularly, the urgency to feel alive.
