Esteemed faculty of Boston Conservatory at Berklee collaborate to perform works showcasing their artistic talents. Performers include Lynn Chang, Craig Juricka, Kyoka Minami, Rictor Noren, David Russell, Robert Sheena, Emily Siar, Christopher Sierra, Linda Toote, Carlos Vargas, and Marimolin members Sharan Leventhal and Nancy Zeltsman. Repertoire includes Bach’s complete Coffee Cantata (BWV 211) and works by Valerie Coleman, Claude Debussy, and Gunther Schuller.

About the Artists

Lynn Chang, violin, is a professor of violin at Boston Conservatory. Learn more about Chang.

Craig Juricka, baritone, is a lecturer of voice in the musical theater and voice/opera programs at Boston Conservatory. Learn more about Juricka.

Sharan Leventhal, violin, is a professor of violin at Boston Conservatory. Learn more about Leventhal.

Kyoka Minami, piano, works not only as a classical pianist but as a collaborative artist. She has won numerous awards, including first prize in the Sakai International Piano Competition. Minami earned a bachelor’s in piano performance from Kyoto University of Arts in 2020 and later completed her master’s degree in piano performance at Boston Conservatory. She is currently pursuing her graduate performance diploma at the Conservatory, under the tutelage of Max Levinson.

Rictor Noren, viola, is associate professor of viola at Boston Conservatory. Learn more about Noren.

David Russell, cello, is associate professor of cello at Boston Conservatory. Russell has served as principal cello of the orchestras of Odyssey Opera and Opera Boston since 2010 and performs regularly with many New England ensembles, including Cantata Singers and Ensemble, the Worcester Chamber Music Society, and Emmanuel Music. A strong advocate of new music, he has performed and recorded with many notable contemporary ensembles, such as Boston Modern Orchestra Project and Firebird Ensemble. Russell also teaches at Wellesley College, where serves as director of chamber music.

Chamber Series is part of Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s Artistry in Action series.
