Ashleigh Reade joined the Conservatory in 2019 and is an assistant professor of theater, teaching voice and speech for both the musical theater and contemporary theater programs, as well as the Actor's Toolkit for first-year students.
In addition to the Conservatory, Reade teaches Vocal Production at both Harvard Extension School and Harvard Summer School, and is the teaching fellow for Professor Marcus Stern in Harvard's Theater, Dance, and Media department. She is also on faculty at Bunker Hill Community College, teaching Acting and Voice and Movement. Reade has led workshops for Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Lyric Stage Company, Berklee College of Music, Harvard College, and the Moscow Art Theater School.
Reade holds a B.F.A. in musical theater from Boston Conservatory and an M.F.A. in voice pedagogy from the American Repertory Theater’s Institute for Advanced Theater Training at Harvard University. She is a designated Certified Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework, and received an E-RYT 200 certification through the Yoga Alliance, signifying over 1,000 hours of classroom teaching experience.
